Cadmium High For Lal Bahadur

Not you or any one
has helped Lal Bahadur
This man helps himself
No disc of gleaming moonlight
comes to Lal Bahadur
This man sees for himself
He has no electricity, no cadmium free
water to wash away grime
Kukhri rum & Snowlion whiskey
flow past Lal Bahadur's door
In pale moonlight of flashing neon
Lal Bahadur's liver glows
His fingers can poke out eyes,
Dear Sir of This and That
Thank god, this is just a poem
and not Lal Bahadurís
sure unstammering voice
Tailored underwear and shoes that fit
are not for Lal Bahadur
He has two leaden balls
to haul round, and only one
back to break  Hands,
shoulders, arms & legs,
all, at so many rupees per day
